Wittmann 100 Hugel Pinot Gris 2023

Pinot Gris from a renowned organic/biodynamic German producer, based in Rheinhessen – notable in that he labels the wine Pinot Gris instead of Grauer Burgunder which is more typical in Germany. He does this as the wine has an Alsace Pinot Gris style to it, with a waxy and honeyed texture, and full of stone fruits and a nutty character, plus some aromatic herbs and spices (vg).
