Talmard Macon Montbellet 2022

A classic and classy wine from this esteemed Burgundy producer. Very elegant, with aromas of honeysuckle and ripe orchard fruits. The Maconnais gives a warmer, broader style of Chardonnay than further north in Burgundy, and this roundness of fruit is perfectly balanced with crisp, fresh citrus notes. Rich and textured in the mouth, with pear and apple flavours and subtle notes of baked bread. Unoaked.
