2017 El Mago Organic Garnacha, Frank Massard – Terra Alta, Spain
Tasting Note: Silky, vibrant Garnacha from northern Spain, perfumed with liquorice, roasted herbs and spices, followed by a satisfying mouthful of blackcurrant, cherry and smoked meat.
Food Matching: El Mago’s light to medium body makes it a very versatile pairing for food. Would go very well with grilled chicken dishes but also can stand up to grilled red meats. Pairs superbly with Spanish cured meats.
