Enjoy free* delivery every Friday across Brighton & Hove, bringing one of the city’s widest selections of craft beer and wine straight to your door.

How Does It Work?

Order online any day of the week before 6 pm on Friday, and we’ll deliver it to your door that Friday. Once your order is ready, you’ll receive a text with your 1-hour delivery window. You can also request a preferred time slot in your order notes, and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.

When Should I Order?

Order any time before 6 pm on Friday. However, with our fresh can drop on Thursday and limited stock, we recommend ordering early to avoid missing out!

What’s the Minimum Spend?

*Free delivery is available with a minimum spend, based on the distance from our taproom (BN2 0GH):

• Within 1 mile: £15 minimum spend
• 1 to 5 miles: £30 minimum spend
• Over 5 miles: Please contact us before placing your order, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

There’s no minimum spend for click-and-collect orders.

Need Delivery on a Different Day?

If you require delivery on a day other than Friday, contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to assist. Text or WhatsApp Matt at 07876-547819. While we can’t guarantee availability, we’ll make every effort to accommodate your request.

If delivery isn’t an option, you’re always welcome to collect your order in person.

Can I order from the taps? 
Unfortunately a change in licensing laws means that currently we are unable to deliver tap beer (cans are unaffected). It is incredibly disappointing. We will continue to try and find a solution but in the meantime we can only deliver can/bottle beer and wine. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Can I Collect My Order?

Absolutely! Click-and-collect is available daily from The Independent and on Fridays from The Rook Taproom. If collecting from The Rook, keep an eye out for your collection confirmation text, as your order may be ready before Friday.

Promotions & Discounts

Please note that any discounted orders must still meet the minimum spend after the discount is applied to qualify for free delivery.

Takeaway, Click-and-Collect and Delivery promotions and discounts are only valid for pre-packaged products.

One promotion/ discount code may be applied per order unless otherwise stated.

All promotional codes are limited to 10 uses per customer unless otherwise stated. 

Promotional codes may not be used on gift vouchers, gift packs, set price cases, sale items or event tickets unless otherwise stated.

Sale of Alcohol

There are a few rules around the sale/purchase of alcohol, beyond being over 18, so here’s a little summary for you: 
If you are lucky enough to look under 25, our delivery team will ask for proof of age.

Proof of age includes an ID with a photograph, date of birth and integral holographic mark or security measure. Suitable means of identification would include PASS PASS-approved proof of age card, photo-card driving licence and passport. 

Deliveries can only be made to residential or business addresses (we can’t, for example, take your delivery to the beach). 

All deliveries must be handed to a resident and cannot be left in a safe place. If you are not available to receive your order we will return your delivery to the taproom and attempt to arrange re-delivery for the following week. Alternatively, you’ll be able to collect your order from the taproom.

We cannot deliver alcohol to anyone who appears to be intoxicated. 

We reserve the right to withhold delivery if we are not fully satisfied that our delivery terms are met.
